Had a really amazing stay on vacation
Greatly enjoyed the hotel, with great food and attentive and friendly staff. Got an upgrade to a nice size room with a mini-bar, flat-screen TV with cable channels, and climate control. Sea view was a pleasant bonus

The hotel, Barcelo Maya Riviera, exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the beautiful and modern Mexican decor. The junior suite I stayed in had a stunning view of the pool and the ocean. Although the room could get a little humid, it was clean and comfortable. The staff at Barcelo were the highlight of my trip - everyone I encountered was kind and attentive. The buffet at the hotel was outstanding, offering a wide variety of delicious and clean food options. I also had the opportunity to dine at two of the hotel's restaurants, Sapporo and Agave, both of which served amazing meals with great service. The pool was well-maintained and the pool staff, Maribel and Esperanza, were always attentive to our needs. I also loved the specialty drinks available at the beach hut, they were delicious and refreshing. my stay at Barcelo Maya Riviera was excellent and I would highly recommend it.
One drawback was that the hotel is not a party resort, which may not be ideal for those seeking a lively nightlife. Additionally, the beach directly in front of the hotel had rough waters and uneven surfaces.
